Oregon
It’s the OREGON TRAILS! With an S, because there are SO many of them. Not only is Oregon (one of the) home to the world renowned Pacific Coast Trail – but it’s filled to the brim with hippies and hipsters that love to get outside. From Boreal Forrests filled with Douglas firs and Mountain Hemlock to the San Dunes in Central Oregon – the climate, and subsequently, the type of adventure you can have is dependent on what you’re into. We’re slowly filling in this state with adventures but for our first series of posts, we focused on Northwest Oregon (or more specifically, Portland). Our next city we’re targeting will be Bend, OR so look out for more posts when we’ve made it through.

Portland
Gateway to waterfall hikes, more waterfall hikes, Mt. Hood, and a lot of white people wearing black clothing for some reason – Portland can be a first stop for people looking for a little bit OF MOST of what Oregon has to offer. Also, for those of you into all those other things people travel for like food, culture, or alcohol – this town isn’t hurting in that department either. You’ll find plenty of quirky, mustachioed men serving you the fanciest locally sourced, artisanal coffees in the city.
